She however has limitations in the way she can do physical work as she suffers from arthritis and has undergone knee and hip replacement surgeries in the last 5 years. There is some weakness in her muscles which prevents her from doing heavy or stressful work. She uses a walking stick outside home, and drives a 3 wheeler scooty to go to work. She is taking medicines and this may continue for some time. Inspite of all the physical limitations she has, she is very optimistic and forward looking

We hail from Bobbili (Andhra pradesh) but are settled in Raipur as her Father Late shri G.S.Murty was a central govt. employee (Telephones). Myself G.V . Lakshmi am a housewife.She has two brothers. Elder brother works for BSNL as Accounts officer at Raipur and elder sister-in-law is housewife.They have a 3 year old daughter Sakshi. Younger Brother works as software engineer for Citi group in London and other sister-in-law works for IBM as senior consultant She is the third child after her two brothers and being the youngest , she has always been looked after by all in the family.Her early childhood and studies took shape in Raipur , and her secondary studies and part of college was in Mumbai/Pune.She is now kind of settled in Raipur with her job.
